The Rev. Yvonne Gilmore, Senior Minister

“Therefore, since it is by God’s mercy that we are engaged in this ministry.”

 - 2 Corinthians 4:1a NRSV

“Since God has so generously let us in on what he is doing.”

 - 2 Corinthians 4:1a The Message

Welcome! Thank you for visiting our website. It is an exciting time to be at Grace. We are a vibrant and diverse community of faith, with passionate servant leaders, powerful worship, and loving followers of Jesus committed to learning and growing. Abiding concerns for justice and peace, questions and doubts, different identities and backgrounds, deep faith and faith at the margins are all welcome at Grace Community Christian Church. I am delighted and privileged to serve as pastor and co-laborer with you to the glory of God. If we have not yet met, I greet you now electronically and hope to personally welcome you soon.

We have this ministry together as Paul reminds us in his letter to the followers of Jesus in Corinth. This ministry that we share doesn’t belong solely to you or to me but to God together with all of us, raising us from death to life, strength to new strength, understanding to becoming. The creative, life changing, transforming love of God shines in our worship, study, giving, hospitality, service, and fellowship. Thanks be to God. If you have questions, concerns, or need to reach me for any reason, please feel free to call or text me at 574.370.6492 or email me at
