WELCOME TO GRACE COMMUNITY!
CONNECTING YOU WITH GRACE

We can reach almost anyone on the face of the earth because of technology with no trouble. And yet, we can feel distant and disconnected at the same time. How can that be? We were intended to feel like we belong. Not just to a family but to a larger family and to God. We take that need seriously. We feel called to:

Passionately invite people to know God and lead them into an exciting, growing relationship with Jesus.

We'll do anything we can to help that happen.

If you are looking for a worshipping community that takes the faith seriously and enjoys the walk with Christ, then you have found a home. Welcome!

We worship at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. Sundays at 2770 Montgomery Rd. (1/2 mile east of Eola in Aurora.) For more information call 630-898-7990 or see our Staff and Schedule Info page. For directions, see our map page.

If you are searching for a church home, give us a try. We are building Christians...one at a time! Get connected!

SEASON OF STEWARDSHIP BEGINNING
General News
Every year at this time, our congregation invites everyone who participates in our church life to make a faith step and express their gratefulness to God through a financial commitment for the next year. This estimate of giving is not just a matter of paying bills. It is something that springs from our memory of how good God has been and continues to work in our lives. It is an expression of our priorities in life, our love for God, and our desire to have a part in building God's kingdom.
This act of faith has very tangible results. Critical ministries are underwritten and people's lives are changed. If you are part of our church life, you will be given the opportunity to take one of the most basic faith steps there is...the sharing of your resources.
For a glimpse of the ministries you will help make possible, click on "read more" below.

Blended Family
Keeping Your Marriage alive
Child-centered Families
Your Imperfect Parents

A daily devotional guide is available to accompany the sermon series. Join us, starting May 4, for this series intended to build up the quality of your family life. To get the daily devotional online, click "read more" below.

ONLINE GIVING NOW AVAILABLE
General News
With more and more people doing all their finances electronically and with so many people traveling due to jobs, etc. we are now making giving more convenient for those who can't be here every week. On the left side of the page in the Main Menu section is an ONLINE GIVING link that will take you to a page and a very simple process for giving an offering by credit/debit card. It is our hope that this will provide for more regular stewardship for those who have highly mobile lifestyles.

CONSTRUCTION CONTINUES
Building Announcements
The base coat of paint has been sprayed on the north side and it looks great! Even for a base coat. This week we'll be finishing up the prep for the storage room, moving flooring up to the mezzanine and putting it down, cleaning out the bathroom, and finishing up some cleanup outdoors as well. The schedule is that we are planning on PAINTING THE FINISH COAT THIS SATURDAY (May 3)! We'll need all hands on deck. If we can get enough people, we can finish the painting in one day. Watch for the announcement. For additional information on how you can support the construction process, click on "Read more."

A WORD FROM THE PASTOR
General News

More and more people are beginning to get their sense of the world from TV. Even from the early days of television, we had images of what Family Life could be and maybe should be. Early on, the challenges of family life were dealt with in quick and simple ways. Life has gotten more complex since then. But the challenges are still with us.
Over a five week period we invite you to join us as we look at different aspects of family life. For fun, each week we'll be using a classic TV show that represents the theme to introduce the sermon. Even if you don't have children or are single or are a grandparent, I think you'll find these messages helpful as we understand our world through God's eyes. Join us.
Roger
Senior Pastor

Today's Verse
Children, do what your parents tell you. this delights the Master to no end.
Parents, don't come down too hard on your children or you'll crush their spirits.
(Colossians 3:20,21 Message Bible)
