CONNECTING YOU WITH GRACE

GCCCoffice@aol.com

Are you surrounded by noise and interruption? Do you feel like you have to fight to discover what is important? Don't feel alone. Even people of faith struggle with all those things. But in the midst of the noise there is something that stands out above everything else and gives perspective to everything. It is found in the search for God. It is what we do. In searching, we discover we have been found.

If you are looking for a worshipping community that takes the faith seriously and celebrates the walk with Jesus, then you have found a home. Welcome!

Worship Times: 9 & 10:30 a.m. Sundays
Location: 2770 Montgomery Rd. (1/2 mile east of Eola/ 2 miles west of rt. 59 in Southeast Aurora.)

REVEAL SURVEY UNDERWAY
General News
It is a good idea to stop once in a while to see how you are doing. We can always hope people are learning the Bible, developing into followers, and increasing in character. But how do you know? The board unanimouosly voted to invite the entire congregation to participate in an online survey that helps us discover how we are doing and how we can improve our ministry. The cost has been paid, so there is no charge for participants. It is already underway and will be open for two weeks. Participants have been provided with login information.
THIS SUNDAY'S SERMON
Sermon Topics
To Seek and to Save Luke 15
There are three “lost” stories here. Our first impression is one of, “Of course!” But in their world the teaching would have represented carelessness, a violation of tradition, and been an offense to the hearers. The modern version of this is to just not care about those who are lost in any way. If you say “yes” to the lost, people often think you are saying “no” to them. What is missing is that THEY are also invited to say “yes.”

Life Verse
"...for the person who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that a double-minded person, unstable in all ways, will receive anything from the Lord." (James 1:6-8)
