WELCOME TO GRACE COMMUNITY!
CONNECTING YOU WITH GRACE
630-898-7990
GCCCoffice@aol.com

Are you surrounded by noise and interruption? Do you feel like you have to fight to discover what is important? Don't feel alone. Even people of faith struggle with all those things. But in the midst of the noise there is something that stands out above everything else and gives perspective to everything. It is found in the search for God. It is what we do. In searching, we discover we have been found.

If you are looking for a worshipping community that takes the faith seriously and celebrates the walk with Jesus, then you have found a home. Welcome!

Worship Times: 9 & 10:30 a.m. Sundays
Location: 2770 Montgomery Rd. (1/2 mile east of Eola/ 2 miles west of rt. 59 in Southeast Aurora.)

Announcements
HAITI RELIEF
Mission Outreach
Support has already started to come in for relief efforts. If you would like to help with the cause, write a check to GCCC and put on the memo line- "Week of Compassion- Haiti relief" It will be sent quickly. If you would like an update on how things are going, click on this link: http://www.weekofcompassion.org/updates/
Here is a report from some of the early efforts at AID: Please know that 100% of your donations go to Haiti relief, if they are designated as such. For undesignated offerings, our overhead is currently 6 %, so you can trust that 94 cents of every dollar goes to those who need it most. We are very proud and intentional about keeping our administrative costs down so the funds WoC receives are directed to meeting critical needs in the world.

Our historic, long-standing partners on the ground in Haiti are receiving the aid and distributing it. My recent update detailed what CWS (www.churchworldservice.org) received and how they have already distributed it. We have tried to communicate every other day so our churches and generous donors know exactly where their money is going.

In addition, I would invite you to encourage the congregation to regularly visit our Haiti page, www.weekofcompassion.org/Haiti -- where we are daily updating it with reports, stories, photos, updates, etc.

Thank you so much for all you are doing to help us communicate all that we are doing to help Haiti. And thanks for your gifts and partnership!

Blessings in Christ,
Amy

THIS SUNDAY'S SERMON
Sermon Topics
Our entire sermon series is centered around combating "soul fatigue." It is the kind of tiredness that a good night's sleep doesn't solve. We'll be looking at the difficult verse from Psalm 23 that talks about walking through the Valley of the Shadow of Death. Nobody wants to do that, but we need to know how.

GRACE Q & A
General News
Because we regularly have new people join our church, there may be many things that people don't know or wonder about. As a way of helping people be informed about what is happening or how things work around Grace, we will regularly post questions and answers for your benefit. All you have to do is click, "read more."

BLAST CHILDREN'S EVENT FRIDAY FEB. 19
Children 1-5th grade are invited to a night of fun and learning on Friday night, Feb. 19. 6:30 p.m. Music, snacks, fun, lessons and friends. It doesn't get any better than that. If you have a child who would like to come, email office@graceccc.org and give their name and age

ONLINE GIVING AVAILABLE
General News
With more and more people doing all their finances electronically and with so many people traveling due to jobs, etc. we are now making giving more convenient for those who can't be here every week. On the left side of the page in the Main Menu section is an ONLINE GIVING link that will take you to a page and a very simple process for giving an offering by credit/debit card. It is our hope that this will provide for more regular stewardship for those who have highly mobile lifestyles. If you would like to give through direct deposit, you can contact our Financial Secretary on how to set up that simple process.
